I have been taking quotations on several televisions. Apart from Samsung and Philips, there was the Sony (but the low class KDL-40U2000). The Samsung I’ve seen is the LE 37S71B and the Philips is PF7331. Sometimes the sellers try to make use of the bombastic brand names to sell out LCDs. However one must compare the specs and from what I can see, Samsung has a contrast ratio higher than Philips. But what about options? Philips have PixelPlus with this panel. Seems a cool option (though at a higher cost!). Anyone to help me decide which panel is best? Please list reasons for your decision. Thanks.
